Nahene Wakamen

A visual translation of a huni meka chant from Kayatibu type of chants, the ones that are sung for the mirações [visions], related to the strength of the nixi pae [ayahuasca], to go down as the ceremony is coming to an end. Nahene Wakamen, like all the chants and their visual translations, juxtaposes images and is not intended to have a narrative structure. It brings images of the sacred waters of the forest, and enchanted animals and fish. Calling for strength, energy and prosperity.
